The Clan Donald Lands Trust would like to invite members of the public to view and comment on proposals and provisional plans that have been put together for developments at Upper Ostaig and Kilbeg on the Sleat peninsula, Isle of Skye.
An exhibition drop-in session will be held off the car park at Armadale Castle on Wednesday, 26th August 2020 between 14.00 and 19.00 hours.
The Upper Ostaig site is currently zoned within the adopted local development plan for mixed use and comprises part of site ES05. The Kilbeg site is currently zoned within the adopted local development plan for mixed use and comprises part of site ES04. This site was also part of approved planning in principle application 10/04329/PIP for 93 dwellings, 6 new college buildings including conference centre, a multi-use sports pavilion, enterprise units including business start-up, offices, local shop, cafe/bar with rooms and care home.
A detailed application is currently being worked upon that will help broaden the appeal of this area of Sleat as a high quality environment in which to live and work, providing local and regional benefits.
Any comments on the proposals can be made by post to Office, Clan Donald Lands Trust, Armadale Castle, Sleat, Isle of Skye, IV45 8RS or by email to office@armadalecastle.com
